The 3rd VC 100 Club draw took place in Puku on the occasion of the opening games of the Six Nations rugby championship on Saturday, 2 February 2013. There was a problem with the connection for the games but a cavalcade of jovial banter managed to keep the show on the road.

As well as the draw, there was a raffle and an auction. A must sought after auction item was a pressure cooker generously donated by Mr Brian Lalor. Many gentlemen who had placed themselves in the dog-house on the Friday night were vying for the pressure cooker to take the pressure off with their better halves on Saturday.

VC 100 club stalwart, Noel Swan had the winning bid and intends to use the pressure cooker to warm his new baby son, Max Arthur Le’s milk bottles. Congratulations to Noel and his wife, Phuong Anh from the Viet Celts on both scores.

The winners of the 3rd VC 100 Club draw were

Michael Ham         10million VND
Catherine Ganley  3million VND
Daragh Halpin       2million VND

Many thanks to all VC 100 club members for their support. Good on Colm Ross, Mike Clifford, Kieran Tierney and Dan Burns for putting the whole thing together.
