Leinster Council supports Vietnamese Youth Gaelic Football

The Leinster Council is twinned with the Asian Gulf Board for the development of coaching and referring expertise in Asia and will conduct the coaching and referring sessions at the Asian Gaelic Games 2012 in KL, Malaysia on October 26th and 27th.

They sent over full Leinster GAA kits to be given out as prizes to the best players from the teams in the finals of the Education in Ireland All Vietnam School Cup 2012. This gesture was much appreciated by the young players themselves, their schools and the Viet Celts.

The winners and their schools were as follows:

Junior Boys Cup

Daniel Papendiek : Hanoi International School

Nguyen Trung Hieu : VAS Hanoi


Girls Cup

Monika Tran : Hanoi International School

Vi Ha My      : VAS Hanoi


Senior Boys Cup

 Hoang Dang Quang: Hanoi Academy

Nguyen Tung Anh  : VAS Hanoi

The next tournament in Vietnam is the Education in Ireland Hanoi Youth Cup in Hanoi at the VAS Sportsground on 8th December.
