VC Day – Croke Park, Dublin

On 13 June 2010,  VC who were visiting home for a few weeks in June and VC who had since moved home met up at Croke Park, the cathedral of Gaelic Games to watch the Dublin v Wexford, Leinster Quarter Final. After the game, two presentations were made.

Colm Ross with his award after the game

The first was to Colm Ross who had been voted Viet Celts Player of the Tournament for the South East Asian Games 2009 in Kuala Lumpur where he contributed an incredible 4.6 as the surprise packets of the tournament, a Viet Thai amalgamation team powered their way to the SEA Plate 2009 with some scintillating performances.

Bevan Marshall with his award in the presentation area

The second award was a VAS Gaelic Legend award presented to Bevan Marshall, Vice Principal of VAS Hanoi for his help with the logistics and organisation of the Gaelic Football club there, in particular for support with the Viet Celts U14 Cup 2009 and the All Vietnam Schools Cup 2010.

Thanks to Declan Fanning of Croke Park , VC dual star Aidan O’Brien , Jimmy Clarke of Tipperary and Isabella Gauthier of Paris who all made the weekend go smoothly for the Viet Celts.
